This small wooden collection has been inspired by the historical references based on the puppet makery from twenties of the last century.
Marionettes are produced from a linden wood, that´s the best and also the most traditional material being used to make a puppets from. The individual components are wood turned, made in the small wooden company in South Bohemia. We complete, hand paint and dress marionettes in our workshop aria in Prague. Each marionette is slightly different, piece by piece hand painted faces by Mrs. Jakešová give them very unique expressive colorful look. The features are the most important part of the puppet, show, pick out the character. Face talks. The color of the painted-dressed body and the fabric may vary. The technique is illustrative – color pigments and crayons, varnished at the end, so the color would stay the same. Led by the wooden controller with four strings attached to the body. Every piece is an original and has CE Certificate.

Whether there is any color specification upon the request, that can be done.

More marionette pictures

For all of you who cannot spend the time in our puppet studio and join creative courses to achieve a fabulous marionette we have produced a simple DIY Marionette Kit.

There are twenty different characters to choose from!

The kit includes ready - made linden wood components, instruction, fitting accesories. You just have to supply yourself with the paint. We recommend pencils, pastels, watercolors, acrylic paint. For finish fix the paint with matte varnish on wood. If you use pencils then spray the marionette before varnishing with fixative (for dry technics).
