Since 1993 all fans of puppet making and friends of the marionette world can visit our special shop-gallery which is situated at Malá strana end of the Charles Bridge across Vltava river. The gallery presents marionettes of more than forty Czech puppet designers who are either renowned artists of the trade or talented designers following the local tradition. Apart from their own art they very often create puppets for film or theater productions.
Diversity and quantity of marionettes displayed in such a tiny gallery is truly astonishing. The marionettes vary from small plaster puppets - usually replicas of originals made from 1911 for family theaters - to serial carved marionettes and unique originals.

In 2004 we opened second gallery in former customs duty office of Ungelt in the Old Town. This more spacious gallery presents larger original marionettes with more complex designs.
Small workshops are also part of both the galleries where one can see the process of creating puppet costumes and marionette arranging.
