In course of this workshop, each participant will – under Pavel´s supervision and with his assistance – carve out the head, hands and feet of their own wooden marionette, attach those pieces to the body  and dress the marionette up in its costume. The body and the costume will be prefabricated in our workshop according to your specific requirements.

Workshop Schedule:

Production of a 40 -50 cm marionette with or without textile costume (accessories) – head, hands and feet carved from the linden wood.
Workshop takes 5 days
Students will work from 10 am to 6 pm, having 1 hour lunch break

Maximum number of students: 4

1^st Day

• Preparation of visual design (technical drawing)
• Machine material preparation
• Start on carving the marionette head

2^nd Day

• Head puppet completion
• Body preparation

3rd Day

• Start on carving a marionette hands and legs

 4^th Day

• Finishing hands and legs
• Marionette maleri

^5th Day

• Marionette assembly
• Technique of stringing puppet
• Marionette completion
• Puppetry lesson

Workshop gebyr:

18.000 CZK per person

Every participant will obtain a certificate of successful completion of a course.
